Finding Rinpoche - A Feature Film

Pre-Production & Production: To budget wisely, I have started pre-production and location scouting. I have visited Nepal recently and counseled the production company there. The script has finished. The shots and storyboard are being completed. The movie will be shot in Nepal. I plan to work with a Nepali/Taiwanese producer and production company. I believe it will take no more than six months to wrap up the movie. The main casts are Nepali and Tibetan. I plan to hire them in Nepal and get them trained professionally. We have crews lined up to work on the project. We have a few experienced Cinematographers and editors on board. Currently, we are seeking Funds and Grants. The movie will mainly be in Nepali. It will be subtitled in English. It is about how the people living in the Himalayan valleys struggle with and get along with the rugged terrain. They rely on the reincarnated spiritual leader Rinpoche's teachings to face all life challenges. One day, their religious leader suddenly passes away, leaving only a photo of an American couple with contact information on the back. The monastery and people are lost and confused. Some try to contact the American couple but fail. Some can't accept the photo as a clue for finding the reincarnation of Rinpoche and choosing their candidate respectively, and this creates division among them. The old and the new philosophy come into sharp conflict. Consequently, 20 years passed without a spiritual leader. Their morality plunges to the bottom. Until one day, Alex, a black American, arrives and changes everything.
